What is Women’s Health Online Physiotherapy?

Women’s health physiotherapy (also known as pelvic health physiotherapy) is a specialist area of physiotherapy focused on conditions that affect the pelvic floor, core, bladder, bowel, and reproductive health.

Many symptoms women experience are common, but they are not something you simply have to live with.

Women’s physiotherapy can help improve comfort, strength, function, and confidence, while supporting long-term wellbeing.

At Your Health, our focus is on helping you feel informed, supported, and empowered in your body again.

Online Women’s Physiotherapy Video Consultations

Our online physiotherapy consultations are designed to be convenient, supportive, and clinically effective.

During your appointment, you will meet your physiotherapist via a secure video platform. Your physiotherapist will take the time to understand your symptoms, lifestyle, medical history, and personal concerns. You will be guided through a full assessment, and together we will build a clear plan to help you move forward.

Online consultations are ideal for women who:

  • Want fast access to specialist advice and support
  • Prefer to access care from home
  • Feel anxious about face-to-face appointments
  • Have busy schedules or childcare responsibilities
  • Struggle to travel due to pain or discomfort

What does a remote (Digital) consultation involve?

A remote pelvic pain physiotherapy consultation typically includes:

  • A detailed discussion of symptoms and history
  • Review of movement, posture, and daily activities
  • Education about pain mechanisms and contributing factors
  • Individualised advice and exercise guidance
  • Development of a tailored management plan

Consultations are one-to-one and conducted via secure video platform.

Who may benefit from this service?

Remote pelvic pain physiotherapy may be suitable for patients experiencing:

  • Persistent or recurrent pelvic pain
  • Pain associated with movement, exercise, or daily activities
  • Pelvic floor-related symptoms
  • Ongoing symptoms alongside or following medical treatment

This service can be particularly helpful for patients seeking non-invasive, conservative support as part of their wider care pathway.
