Tracy Denmade – Midwife
Tracy Denmade is an experienced midwife with a compassionate and supportive approach to women’s care. Through her Birth Reflections Service, Tracy provides a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space for women to talk through their pregnancy, labour and birth experiences.
Birth does not always happen in the way we expect or hope. A difficult, complicated, unexpected or traumatic birth can leave women with unanswered questions or uncertainty about why particular decisions or interventions were needed. Tracy understands how important it can be to have the opportunity to revisit these experiences with a knowledgeable healthcare professional.
During a Birth Reflections consultation, Tracy takes the time to listen to each woman’s individual experience, helping them explore their birth journey and better understand the events surrounding their care. Where appropriate, the consultation can include discussing maternity terminology, interventions and decisions, as well as identifying questions that may need to be explored further with the maternity provider.
Tracy’s approach is centred around listening, understanding and empowering women with clear information. Her aim is to help women make sense of their experience, identify any ongoing support they may benefit from and feel better informed when thinking about their wellbeing or future pregnancies.
Whether your birth was recent or some time ago, the Birth Reflections Service with Tracy Denmade offers dedicated time to talk, ask questions and have your experience heard.
